Prayer For A Generous Person
God, our Great Provider, you encouraged the rich young ruler to sell his possessions and give unto the poor if he were to come and follow you. He rejected you, and he went away disappointed, for he loved what he already had. Lord, teach our hearts to give freely without counting the cost. Let nothing in this world keep us from reflecting your generosity. Let us trust that when we are generous, you will ensure that our needs are taken care of, for you are our good shepherd. Amen.
Father of Compassion, generosity derives from compassion a compassion that you have for the world. For how can we be generous if we have no compassion for those who are less fortunate than we? Lord, make our hearts compassionate towards others. Let us look upon the world and take pity on those who are in peril. Help us rise to the challenge that you set before all of us, that we might share your wondrous gifts of faith, hope, and eternal life with the world. Lord, have mercy and hear us. Amen.
Jesus, my Savior, you teach us that good fruit is produced from a good tree. Likewise, kindness flows not from a heart that is made of stone, but from a new heart that is given to us through your spirit. Lord, teach us to be kind in heart, so that love, grace, and charity flow forth like a river. Give us a generosity that reflects your own, through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Teach me, Lord Jesus, to be generous:
to serve You as You deserve;
to give, not counting the cost;
to fight, not heeding the wounds;
to toil, not asking for rest;
to labor, not seeking any reward,
save that of knowing that we do Your will.

Dear Father,
I treasure my wonderful friends so much. Thank you for their presence in my life. I ask that you would watch over them and lead them into hope and blessing. I trust that you will protect and hold them when life is hard. Lord, help me to be a good friend to them.

I ask for everyday prayers for those loving, helpful and generous people who pray for the needs of other people everyday that God grant them the strength and guidance to continue to love and share to others and that God grant them and their families petitions for their everyday life. That God protect them from danger and harm to their soul and body. That Jesus our personal savior shower them his mercy and graces each day. Amen.
