Prayer For A Friend Whose Father Is Sick
May you have rest and peace in your heart.
May angels surround your bed through the night.
May each day bring healing with the dawn,
Restore your energy, and heal your wounds.
May hope remain within your heart,
As you find new strength and make a new start.
I pray you'll soon be well,
To love and live and enjoy life again.

Almighty God,
You know that we are surrounded by many great dangers, and because of our human frailty we cannot withstand them. Give us health of mind and body so that we who suffer under sin may overcome and win the victory in you; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
Amen.
God, be with my friend today. Their sickness is greater than they feel like they can handle, and their hope seems non-existent. They feel powerless, God, but You are ever-powerful. I pray that You give them comfort and strength in the knowledge that while they are weak, You are strong. There is nothing too big for You to handle. You are all the hope they need. Thank You for being mighty and ever-present. Amen.
Father,
Help me get my focus back on you. I know I need to stop dwelling on my hurts and frustrations. Help me be faithful in prayer and put my hope in you. May the Holy Spirit guide and comfort and strengthen me.

Dear Jesus,
You walked on the earth, understood the broken world, yet also rose from death into resurrected life. I pray for my loved one that they would be held at this time in your loving arms. Bless the work of the doctors, surgeons and hospital staff, and bring the power of your resurrection life into their body. Come fill my loved one from top to toe with your restorative Spirit. May your resurrection life bring healing and wellness into their being. May your grace carry them through this hard time into a new season filled with hope and joy.

Almighty Father,
Hold my lovely dad at this time of illness, watch over him when he can not sleep, speak your love to him when he is afraid, touch and heal his weak body.
Lord, you are the fountain of life. I ask for your life giving water to pour down upon him. Build him up again, look after his emotions and may he know your loving arms are around him at this time. Thank you for your love, and for your promises to your children. Thank you that you will never leave us, and that you bring us a peace that surpasses all understanding.

May you healing hand rest upon me, may your life-giving powers flow into every cell of my body and into the depth of my soul; cleaning, purifying, restoring me to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom

Father God,
Many of us need healing. I need healing for past hurts, random physical pains that I allow to waylay my days and Spiritual healing for various reasons. I reach up to You to receive this healing so that I may be whole and that I may be able to then minister to others in a way that brings You fullness of glory. How wonderful to be able to worship You without stain or blemish and to be totally healed. Show others Your healing power so that they may also be healed and walk in wholeness.
