Prayer For A Friend Who Has Cancer

Lord Jesus, I declare in your name that cancer will not steal this life, there will be restoration and healing! I proclaim freedom from cancer cells, I pray against their multiplication and growth and from the transference of these cells to different areas of the body. I prophesy a new balance. I command the cells that have grown in the wrong place to diminish, to fade and to vanish into nothing. I sing out life over and through the body of my friend. May light fill their minds, may hope fill their thoughts and may your love expand in their hearts. I know that you died and rose again so that cancer could be overcome, that it was taken to the cross and left there. I wait, holding my dear friend in prayer, focused on you my Saviour, expectant and in faith! I pray all this in your glorious name. Amen.

Dearest Father, thank you that you love us and minister to us by your Spirit released into our hearts by the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. You are Lord of Heaven and Earth, the creator of all and the giver of life. You renew the Earth and every heartbeat and breath comes from you. So, I lift those battling with cancer to you and I pray for them now. Help me to be a channel to bring your healing touch here on Earth. Lord, I trust in your name, the highest name, holy, true and just. I pray out the cancer cells, the imbalanced growth and illness in the name of Jesus. I remain in your promises, I await your touch and I long for your intervention. Thank you that you are powerful and mighty. One word from you brings transformation and nothing is outside of your authority and amazing love. I declare to the powers of darkness that Jesus is alive! Thank you that he has triumphed over all darkness with healing in his wings. In the name of the most wonderful! Amen.

Father,

You love ____ dearly. You know the plans you have for him, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, to give him hope and a future (Jer. 29:11). This is your will! We know that all things work together for her good (Rom. 8:28), though all things in themselves may not be good. Cancer is not your will for him! Rebellious cells in his body are not your design or plan. Yes, we live in a broken world, but you are working to fix what veers from your purposes. We join you in resisting and fighting this disruption in our friend's life! We thank you that you have already accomplished everything necessary for his complete healing. On the cross you became cursed, despised, rejected, sorrowful, and familiar with suffering as you took into and upon yourself all the brokenness of the world, including this disease. Now, by your own wounds he has been healed (Is. 53:3). When you submitted to death and rose from death to life you defeated the enemy. And if the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead is living in ______, then the Spirit now gives life to his mortal body (Rom. 8:11). We believe this and ask now that your healing would be expressed realtime in ______. Let this word be made flesh in him (John 1:14). When you were here on earth, Jesus you taught us to enforce your authority over nature. You commanded us to leverage your Name and command creation to be restored according to your original design (Luke 10). We take up this assignment now for ______. We command his cells to obey the Word and will of the Lord! We command his immune system to rise and fight cells that do not belong. We curse the distorted mutations of your wondrous design. We cut off, by our faith, words, and Jesus' authority, the capacity for cancer cells in _____'s body to spread. We say, Praise the Lord, ______! May all that is in you praise His name. And because it is impossible for rebellious cells to praise the Lord, they must be evicted now, and be replaced by good cells that can honor God! This is the mountain you instruct us to move by our words and faith. We don't ask you to move it; we tell it to move in your Name (Mark 11:23) because your words in our mouths are as your words in your mouth. And now we thank you ahead for the evidence of your promised and completed victory. We have asked and believed that we have (past tense) received this answer (Mark 11:24). This is already done! Along the way, grant _____ peace and joy. This seems impossible, but grace is there for him. Give him certainty now of your determined outcome! Give doctors wisdom to work with you (whether they acknowledge that or not). Give _____ wisdom to know what adjustments to make in his daily life. And taken together, your work with all human cooperation, let this healing come here and now! We pray this in Jesus' wonderful Name, because all your great promises are already Yes! in Jesus. And so in response we simply say,

Amen!

Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon your blessed name and we pray for your merciful heart to surround these with love, strength, and courage and we ask Your hands to touch them with the power of healing. May they be directed to the right treatment in Your blessed name as we ask You Lord to represent the physicians, nurses, and medical care aids and administer them in Your spirits. May every cancerous cell be cast out and replaced with good ones. May every spot of this deadly cell be wiped out by Your powerful hands.

Heavenly Father, Give all cancer fighters comfort when they are in pain. Lay your healing hand on all and remove every cancer cell so that they may be healed! Amen

Father, with you nothing is impossible. You are God of all flesh; we love you and we are confident that no situation is too hard for you. We come to you on behalf of this dear one seeking healing from cancer. God, Jesus Christ has fully paid the price by the stripes He took; we therefore are asking that the devourer gets off from this child of yours in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

May God heal me, body and soul. May my pain cease, may my strength increase, may my fears be released, May blessings, love, and joy surround me. Amen.

Father God, we humbly pray for all those who are fighting cancer. Give them the hope and courage they need each day. Comfort them in their pain and bless them with healing. Strengthen their family, friends, and caregivers. In Jesus' name, Amen.
