Prayer For A Deeply Troubled Marriage
We lift up this husband to you.
We pray that you would help him receive your peace and encouragement during this difficult time.
We lift up this wife to you. Touch her heart. Soften the hard, dry areas in her heart. Draw her down a path that leads into your arms. May she grew to desire to love and serve you with all her heart. May she come to enjoy following you, and may she come to enjoy her husband and her marriage.
Lord, we pray that this husband will be determined to welcome your thoughts.
We pray that you would teach this man how to stir up strength, and receive hope, and be able to extend supernatural love to his wife.
We pray that he would allow your peace to prevent him from doing and saying things that would cause unnecessary strife.
We ask that you would give him thoughts of ways to reduce the tension between them.
Help him recognize your hand of intervention and restoration.
Remind him of good memories and warm moments.
Encourage him to reach out with kindness to his wife. Give him new compassion and insights into the needs of his wife.
Give him determination for the tough days and nights. May he be tenacious in holding on to your grace for his marriage.
Refresh your beloved son as he seeks to become a man after God's own heart.

Lord of Miracles,
We come before you and lay this marriage in your hands.
We ask that you would revive this husband and this wife, and draw them toward happy matrimony.
We ask that you would renew their love and passion for one another.
We ask that you would untangle the conflicts and strife, and heal the hurts.
We ask that you would bring understanding and tenderness of heart.
May they both embrace the miracle that you desire to do for them and with them.

Oh God, revive my heart to the romantic feelings that I had when I first dated and then married my spouse. Help me to rekindle that flame of love and to fan it to a burning passion and desire for my one, true beloved and to always remain faithful, even in my mind. I am so aware that I can commit adultery in my heart. Please keep me from temptations that surround me in this world, help me to guard my eyes to not look at others of the opposite sex. Help me to be completely satisfied in my precious one and to be fully enraptured with them as the one who I vowed to remain faithful to and to love, cherish, and honor them and remain faithful in this life. I ask for You to revive our love for one another, knowing that you direct even a pagan king's heart to go in whichever direction You will and so I pray for that in the Great Son of God's name, Jesus Christ, amen.
God my Father, You are the One Who can restore all things, including my marriage and so I pray that You would renew our marriage in a way that only You can by Your Spirit. Send Your Spirit to show me where I have been wrong and to admit and confess my faults to my spouse and to know how I have hurt them. Please forgive me for that and I will ask for the forgiveness from my beloved too. I know I need to humble myself before my spouse to tell them that I have made some serious mistakes and have been unthankful for them and all that they do for me and the family. Oh Righteous Father, renew in me the desire to be a better spouse for my beloved and to show more of the attributes that You have and that includes patience, kindness, politeness, and above all, love and for that I pray in the name above all names, Jesus Christ, amen.
Dear most caring, loving and understanding God, You are already aware of all my marriage problems, worries and pain I am about to take to You in prayer right at this blessed moment. Father God, I have tried my best and have done all that I could possibly do to try to resolve all the issues that have led to this present status of my marriage.
At this point, there is nothing else I can do, so I surrender everything to You! I sincerely plead for your divine intervention! Please take matters in your hands, and do what You have to do to fix my marriage.
Forgive me for the things I have done or unconsciously done that have contributed to this present state of my marriage. If there is anything I should have done at any point and have not done, or should have been doing and haven't been doing, God please forgive me.
Father I know that I am far from being perfect, for this reason, I must admit that I am not blameless. Talk to me, show me what I have to do. Give me the wisdom, knowledge and understanding I need to play my part, day by day.
Touch the heart of my partner, and open up his/her eyes dear Lord. Talk to him/her in a special way so that he/she may obey and be willing to meet me halfway. You know what exactly have changed the once loving, caring and understanding person I have initially married.
The person I stood beside in your Sanctuary in holy matrimony and make my vows to remain with for richer or poorer, and through sickness. The person I have pledged to remain with until death.
Father God, I believe in You and so I trust in You to take care of all my marriage problems. There is no favor too big to ask of You. I know that all I have to do when I pray, is to surrender everything to You and just have the faith to believe You are going to help me save my marriage. I know it has to be done your way and at a time chosen only by You -- so choose your own time and have it your own way great, merciful Jesus. Thank You God. Amen!
James 1:20 Because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
Lord, thank you for making me righteous through Christ. I have been feeling very angry toward my spouse and have spoken to him/her in a harsh manner.
Deliver me from all the anger I feel toward my spouse for the hurtful things he/she has done to me.
Help me not to be easily provoked to anger but to remain calm and polite always. Forgive me for my anger and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

Lord, thank you for the gift of my spouse and the beautiful marriage we have shared. You have watched over our marriage all these years and have seen us through many difficult moments.
Show my spouse and I how to be selfless in our marriage and consider the other person before ourselves.
Help us conduct our marriage with humility and give no room to pride. I will consider my spouse's opinion before making any decision. May we remain humble before you always.

God, I know that You are good, even though I can't see the good right now. I know that You love me, even though I don't feel You right now. God, please come closer to me. Fill me with Your Spirit. Rid my heart of the anger and hurt I have towards my spouse. Surround me with comfort, strength, and wisdom. Pour Your love into me, into my spouse, and into my marriage. Help me to wait. Be with me in the waiting.
