Prayer For A Beautiful Day
Dear God,
In the morning, O Lord, I will direct my song and my prayer unto You and will look up. (Psalm 5:3)
Good morning Lord! This is the day that you have made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. With gratitude, I thank you for preserving my life for one more day. With gratitude, I thank you for your ultimate gift of love for me, in the form of your son and the sacrifice of his life on my behalf. Because of this overwhelming gift that I often cannot comprehend, I humbly submit to you. I know Lord, that I am a mere human and cannot instruct you, but you Lord can instruct me. So teach me your ways that I may rely on your faithfulness. Teach us to number our days and to use our time wisely.
I don't know what this day holds, but I know that you hold the day. It was you that laid the foundations of the Earth and therefore understands every part of it. I know that you keep the sun in the sky, the stars in place, and have created this Earth for me to inhabit and enjoy.
Throughout this day, may I be keenly aware of your presence in everything I do as I commute to work, drop children off at school, keep house and speak with my neighbors. May my life be a living example and may others see Christ in me. There are many that are hurting in this world may I be a salve to someone today Lord, in a way that I can't even imagine. May my words be seasoned with salt and minister grace to all that hear. May my actions be aligned with your Word.
I pray for wisdom that is peaceable, gentle, and approachable, with lots of mercy and fairness. You said an unlimited supply of wisdom is available to me if I simply ask, so I pray for wisdom to know how to deal with the many people and situations that will cross my path.
I pray for protection throughout this day; protect from harm and evil; go before me, to the left and right of me and behind me. Order my steps so that I walk worthy of your calling throughout this day. May I be attuned to your promptings whether it shows up as a gentle tug or a strong conviction.
I pray for reconciliation in families, in nations and to you. I pray that all may come to know you and be reconciled back to You.
Lord, you know my faults and my flaws forgive me for being unkind with my words and my thoughts; forgive me for being self-serving; forgive me for holding on to old wounds instead of giving them to you. Forgive me, Lord.
When I am overwhelmed, confused, unsure, and restless, help me run to your Word. May your Word come alive to me so that it is a living guide in every situation. Help me, Lord, to remember the promises of your Word and bring the right passage to my remembrance for the situation. I acknowledge Lord that I need to spend more time with you reading and praying so that I am prepared for whatever the day brings. Lord, I know that your Word is indeed a light unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Remove fear and anxiety. As believers you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of love power and a sound mind. So when we are fearful, may we remember your love for us and use that love as the impetus to love others and see situations differently; may we tap into the power that you have given us for we are never alone because you have not left us comfortless. May your wisdom be the underpinnings for our sound minds. May we remember that we don't have to be anxious and when we are tempted to be anxious or worrisome, may we verbalize our concerns to you and then leave them there as you instructed us. Our worry does us no good and limits us, and you do more with our worry than we ever could. So help us to turn all of our anxious thoughts and nerve-wracking situations over to you; to truly do that and trust that you are working. That you are working all things together for our good because you love us; that you are working in ways that we cannot comprehend because your ways supersede ours. And that in this working you are molding us continually into masterpieces fit for your use. You are increasing our faith and our capacity to love.
As a child of yours Lord, I know that I am your masterpiece though I feel so far from it. Help me to remember my worth in you when I'm faced with challenging situations. When I feel depressed, help me to remember that I'm fearfully and wonderfully made in your image a replica of you and that you loved me so much you thought that I was worth dying for. I don't know too many people that would die for me, but you did, and I'm eternally grateful and humbled.
For the unseen, Lord, thank you. You are beyond understanding, you are abundant, you are mine, and I am yours. I submit all to you today, Amen.
I adore Thee, O my God, and I love Thee with all my heart. I give Thee thanks that Thou hast created me, made me a Christian, and preserved me this night. I offer Thee the actions of this day; grant that all of them may be according to Thy holy Will, and for Thy greater glory. Save me from sin and from all evil. Let Thy grace be always with me.

Good Morning God!
You are ushering in another day,
untouched and freshly new.
So here I am to ask you, God,
if You'll renew me too.
Forgive the many errors that I made yesterday
and let me try again dear God
to walk closer in Your way.
But Lord, I am well aware,
I can't make it on my own.
So take my hand and hold it tight,
for I cannot walk alone.
Lord, help me to focus today on what really matters. I'm so grateful for another day. Please help me to keep that spirit of gratitude as I face the ebbs and flows of life; help me to see the good in the bad and the happy in the sad. Renew my spirit. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Dear Lord, thank you for allowing me to awake to yet another beautiful day. I am grateful for the beauty of the sun and Your other creations. Despite sometimes forgetting to proclaim my thanks, I am overjoyed by the wonders around me. Thank you for my life. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
Lord, despite the challenges and struggles of yesterday, help me to focus on You, Your provision over my life and the blessings you continue to bestow upon me. Rather than complaining over what I don't have, help me to focus in on all the wonderful things you've blessed me with. In Jesus' name, Amen.
God, sometimes life gets me down and I find it hard to see things to be thankful for. Open my eyes to see the gifts you've given me in my life. I'm going to start by thanking you for loving me enough to come to earth and die so we can live together forever. Amen.
dear Lord Jesus I thank you for this beautiful day! I thank you for gaining me the strength to drive and have independence. I thank you for sharing my sunshine with others I met and talked with.
Thank you for the weather as this had given a boost in growth your seeds are miracles! Please bless our family with healthy minds, bodies and spirits. Grant us peaceful interactions and values that compliment the teachings and love of Jesus and god the Father.
May love keep us bonded. Take the reins and show Bryce the way the truth and light. Let him know we love him and want to see drastic changes that support his ultimate well being. Please deliver us from evil and give us your pure ness. Bless infants that have arrived lately and all the babies in the world.
That are miracles and gifts. Thank you for our JJ. Please help our leaders show your way and encourage the countries to seek peace.

O Lord, direct our steps this day into the way of peace, and strengthen our hearts to obey your commandments. May the Dayspring visit us from on high, and give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, that they may adore you for your mercy, follow you for your truth,
desire you for your sweetness, for you are the blessed Lord God of Earth, now and forever. Amen.
Lord, may nothing separate me from You today. Teach me how to choose only Your way today so each step will lead me closer to You. Help me walk by the Word and not my feelings.
Help me to keep my heart pure and undivided. Protect me from my own careless thoughts, words, and actions. And keep me from being distracted by MY wants, MY desires, MY thoughts on how things should be.
Help me to embrace what comes my way as an opportunity . . . rather than a personal inconvenience.
And finally, help me to rest in the truth of Psalm 86:13, "Great is your love toward me." (NIV 1984)
You already see the ways I will fall short and mess up. But right now, I consciously tuck Your whisper of absolute love for me into the deepest part of my heart. I recognize Your love for me is not based on my performance. You love me warts and all. That's amazing.
But what's most amazing is that the Savior of the world would desire a few minutes with me this morning. Lord, help me to forever remember what a gift it is to sit with You like this. Amen.
